MIAMI & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (“Southern Glazer’s”)—the world's pre-eminent distributor of beverage alcohol—today announced that it is celebrating its 11th consecutive year as host of the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (NYCWFF), a star-studded, four-day gourmet gathering benefitting the hunger-relief organizations Food Bank For New York City and No Kid Hungry®. As the host, Southern Glazer’s is the exclusive provider of wine and spirits for the festival, which was designed with a mission to EAT. DRINK. END HUNGER.

“We are excited to enter our eleventh year of hosting the New York City Wine & Food Festival,” said Lee Brian Schrager, SVP of Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility for Southern Glazer’s, and Founder and Director of NYCWFF and its sister festival in Miami. “The festival continues to draw tens of thousands of wine and food aficionados from across the country—people who are eager to be wined and dined while supporting No Kid Hungry and Food Bank For New York City in the process. We are proud to work with our many outstanding wine and spirits suppliers to bring our guests new and exciting events each year that ultimately enable us to make a huge impact on the community at large.”

“Southern Glazer’s is also proud to host a special evening celebrating women who are changing the game both in and out of the kitchen,” added Schrager. “We are committed to bring greater diversity and inclusion to the hospitality industry and look forward to kicking off this year’s festival with a spirited salute to the women in food, beverage and entertainment who are carving a path for future generations.”
