MIAMI & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (“Southern Glazer’s”)—the world's pre-eminent distributor of beverage alcohol—today announced that Soren Sorensen has been promoted to the role of Vice President and General Manager, Minnesota, effective September 1, 2019. In his new role, Mr. Sorensen will be responsible for driving commercial execution that meets the needs of our customers and suppliers, and will report directly to Scott Westerman, Executive Vice President and General Manager, North Central Sub-Region.
Mr. Sorensen brings more than 16 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry to his new role. He joined Southern Glazer’s in 2010 as a Sales Brand Manager for the Outstate Region. Since that time, Mr. Sorensen has held roles of increasing responsibility for Southern Glazer’s including Sales Director, Spirits, and Vice President, Spirits, before obtaining his most recent role of Vice President, Sales, Minnesota. Prior to joining Southern Glazer’s, Mr. Sorensen had a productive career at Wirtz Beverage Group.
